We enjoyed our stay here on our way to Acadia. The room was nice and clean. The front desk was very helpful as well. The room we had was a suite and had a small living room to go with two bedrooms. We would definitely stay again.

Have been staying at Kittery Inn & Suites for years. At the beginning, service from staff was stellar, rooms were pristine and breakfast was appetizing. Over the course of years with the changing of owners and lack of attentiveness to detail, care about patrons who are staying at their establishment and continuing to return multiple times per year with staff who are extremely rude, insensitive, discriminatory and belligerent our consideration for finding a new place to stay is high on our list.

Our check in was met with sarcasm, complaints about previous patrons who “trashed the place” and no welcome. Staff stated that they were short staffed and continued to complain to us as we checked in. We ultimately decided to forgo housekeeping during our stay and ultimately dealt with a rancid stench of last weeks garbage that was never taken out from the previous patron. Never felt more unwelcomed during our stay this time. If it wasn’t for Corey and her positive and outgoing disposition, we would have left. Robin & Dorothy were absolutely horrible and should be reconsidered as employees; causing and creating a very toxic environment at the Inn.

We enjoyed Lottery Inn and Suites and would definitely go back there. Our suite was clean and roomy and the pool was nice and clean too. The location was convenient to Portsmouth NH and Kittery and points north. I would definitely recommend it to others.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

It is clear that we inconvenienced the mother/daughter employee combination with our simple request. Felt it necessary to complain about understaffed and publicly speak about other rooms and the issues with them. Doesn’t appear to value long term guests (been coming for last 5 years).

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Replace Robin and Dorothy with people who care about the guests and don’t have such a negative demeanor
