Disappointed that you kept $150 deposit on a room I reserved for my brother who was unable to make the trip. Especially when we were informed at the desk the room was rented for both nights. Your receptionist was informed two days in advance. This is a totally unacceptable cancellation policy. Double dipping!

Loved how the hotel was very small, tucked into the trees, let me open the windows and sit on the balcony, how super, sincerely, friendly the staff was and how comfortable the bed was.

Way too expensive for an upgraded fifties roadside motel. No way it should be labeled “Inn and suites.” The breakfast (snacks) were just “OK” not really a breakfast.

Breakfasts were fine and availability of coffee for most of the day and evening was good. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfasts and cups of coffee on the little balcony attached to our room. The machines for snacks and drinks wouldn’t accept bills or credit cards. As I didn’t have any coins, I can’t comment on whether or not they were accepted. When I mentioned that the machines were not “working” I was given change for a $5 and told the machines were working. I tried with $1 bills. Nothing worked! As I had some food in my room, I didn’t try again!

PARKING: The parking was strange. We were there for four nights. I thought we were assigned a space but it was often occupied by other cars when we returned. SMOKING: I believed I was going to a smoke-free inn. I had to close windows due to smoke coming into our room…not what I expected I would have to do!

I’m so grateful for the staff and the restful environment they create. We wanted to come last year but Vermont was too tight with the travel restrictions, so we couldn’t leave the state. We are so, so appreciative that the motel survived the last year and is still open. The only thing we wished we’d had in our cabin was a small fan for the larger bedroom. It got super hot. The 2nd night we kept the door open and it was better. A top sheet would’ve been great also. I loved the duvet cover but my husband was very hot.

Keep the breakfast up longer to accommodate your West Coast guests. I went up there at 10AM (which is 7AM my time) and everything was already put away.
