The bed was rather uncomfortable and squeaky. Rather then a headboard, you should put a nightstand with lighting on either side of the bed. Hate the duvet, unfortunately we didn’t read the note about the extra sheets.

A good night’s sleep is what travelers look for. Improve the mattress and bedding.

We enjoyed our sweet, clean, private cabin with windows that open and screens on the windows. We enjoyed the salt water pool. The people working at the desk were very helpful and we appreciated the great recommendations the gentleman shared with us. The motel is reminiscent of a 1950’s cabins-in-the-woods motel, except that everything was ship—shape, clean and up-to-date.

When it comes to food, we are not easy to please, because we’re into gourmet vegan food. The breakfast bar was all standard American food, which is not healthy, and so we were reluctant to eat there. I would recommend you upgrade the menu with wholesome, fresh vegan offerings, including some gluten-free options. However, you other guests might not appreciate it!

I like the property, however my room had a musty, moldy smell. The carpet was damp, so that may be the reason.

The people were very nice. The room was OK. But the facility is very old and needs to have a remodel done. Their pricing is similar to some of the more established facilities like Best Western and Days Inn, but the overall accommodations fall short of their competition.

Yes: Finish the breakfast area. It was small and only cold products.
Trim the trees that surround the rooms. They make it dark and damp.
Invest in room improvements to draw more people in from out of state.

Ran out of the only breakfast item I was interested in (hard boiled eggs) and were not willing to make more, even though there was 30+ Minutes left in breakfast time period. Just a disappointment. Other items looked good.

We stayed in one of the cottages without a kitchen and are looking forward to coming back with friends to stay in a cabin with a kitchen. Great, quiet place to stay with a lot of places and sites to check out nearby.

If I could give you guys 20 stars I would, nice inn/suites we will definitely come back for another visit. rooms were very clean,staff was very friendly, Robin, at the front desk couldn’t help you enough. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your beautiful facility. It’s so close to Portsmouth, and close to other things that we wanted to visit.

We have stayed at the motel several times this summer. The beds are comfortable and the room with kitchenette has good facilities. The location is perfect. It needs a bit of refurbishment now, but is generally clean and safe for these Covid times.

Would have enjoyed a side table-maybe wall lights over bed and wall mount “table” would help in tiny suite room. Everyone was very nice.

Online it was unclear which room i would get-no way to select which type of room. I thought I would have stove top to cook meals and a bathtub but did not.
The pool was lovely and staff were wonderful! Overall had a wonderful stay!!

Great Motel with friendly staff, good location and pool. Rooms are very clean and updated. Grab and go breakfast had nice choices. Very family friendly and an old school experience for those used to staying in the average ‘Hotel’
The photos of the rooms and grounds are very misleading. The room was small and almost primitive. No clean towels or maid service was provided. The grounds were not kept neat and the pool is shameful. No umbrellas for shade and all the lounge chairs were covered with bird droppings. The did have a coin laundry on the other side of the property and down a steep flight of stairs. The breakfast was an odd cold selection and not good. The best thing was the coffee and that was good.
I would never stay there again.
